Research:
My current interests mainly include developing and/or using direct first-principles methods, first-principles-based techniques and semi-empirical approaches to calculate properties of ferroelectrics, magnetic compounds, multiferroics, semiconductors and nanostructures. We carry out research in the field of computational condensed matter physics. Previously my research interests primarily focused on electronic structures and (charge, spin and phonon) transport, in electric or magnetic field, through various nano materials, such as carbon nanotube, graphene, dna, molecules, and 2d electron gas semiconductor structures.
